A good ally for the planet

Even though it can be a bother at times, the wind is a great partner for the environment. It is responsible for distributing heat throughout the globe and regulating temperatures. It also carries and releases clouds, which then pour down rain on us.

A breath of fresh air

On windy days, it is a good idea to teach children about the importance of the wind because it is a great source of renewable energy. In fact, we are seeing more and more wind turbines in our fields, generating electricity in a natural manner.

Playful companion

Windy days are also great for playing! We can play with the wind, feel it on our faces, make our own kite, release balloons, or get a simple windmill to see how it works.
